Angelica is very proud and excited to be bringing Twisted: The Untold Story of a Royal Vizier to New York City, for a second season! She is a member of Open Hydrant Theatre Company's Adult Ensemble, Producer/Director/Writer of Bill and Ted's Excellent Talk Show, and the founder of Makes Sense Theatrics. Quinn playing the part of Ahmed is originally from a small town in northern New Jersey. Having a passion for foreign languages, he has studied both Japanese, German, and Mathematics. Joshua is ecstatic to be a part of the TWISTED cast. A graduate from AMDA New York he made his NY stage debut in The Gallery Players production of The Bakers Wife in Brooklyn. Most recently he was seen in Beef and Boards Dinner Theaters productions of Ghost: The Musical (Subway Ghost), Pinocchio (Ballon Seller) and A Christmas Carol(Jacob Marley). Clare is an actor/director born and raised in Maine, but she moved to NYC to pursue a career in theatre after graduating from the University of Southern Maine with a BA in theatre and a minor in music. Favorite roles include Rosalind in "As You Like It" and CB's Sister in "Dog Sees God." She enjoys reading and tea-drinking in her spare time, as well as stress baking her way through cookbooks. She lives with her fiance, Matthew, and their Tiny Dog, Jasper. Thanks to Mom and Dad for being the best, enjoy the show! #twistednyc
Wylan Ernst, a student at the School of Visual Arts, currently studies what most call a useless major: Filmmaking. Wylan is a Writer, Producer, Director, Actor, and occasional Stand-Up Comedian. Currently, Wylan produces a monthly sketch comedy show: Bill & Ted’s Excellent Talk Show. Please help this desperate man get slightly famous by subscribing to his YouTube channel @ "Wylan Ernst". After years of making sketches, Wylan one day hopes to become a Writer for Saturday Night Live, or any other show that would be willing to hire him... Brooklyn born soprano La Toya Lewis returned to the local NYC music scene in January 2017. Roles performed in 2017 include Ursula in the musical Twisted, Amelia in the American premiere of La Zingara with Amore Opera, Mustardseed in The Fairy Queen with Gramercy Opera, and Soprano II in Philip Glass’ Hydrogen Jukebox. She revived the role of Amelia with Amore Opera in October 2017. Career highlights include touring with jazz legend Wynton Marsalis and teaching alongside TV sensation Tony Danza. Ms. Lewis holds an MM from Binghamton University and a BM from SUNY Purchase. She also runs her own lifestyle culture blog, "La Toya, Literally." She is excited to reprise her role as Ursula.
Mattthew is thrilled to be in his first musical in New York City! A graduate of the University of Southern Maine, Matthew has been in numerous shows in and around New England. Favorite roles include Jamie, The Last Five Years, Frank Abagnale Jr., Catch Me If You Can, Frank Doyle, Beyond Belief, and Tom Wingfield, The Glass Menagerie. He was recently seen in The Heights Players production of The Picture of Dorian Gray in Brooklyn. Matthew lives in Manhattan with his fiance Clare and the tornado they call a dog. Nancy is super excited to be a member of the cast of Twisted. This will be her first NYC performance. Nancy has recently migrated to NYC from Orlando where she performed in various productions throughout Central Florida including roles with Halloween Horror Nights and the Grinchmas Wholiday Spectacular at Universal Studios. Nancy would like to thank the cast and crew for welcoming her to this production. Sarah is thrilled to be a part of this production of Twisted! A graduate of Johns Hopkins University and the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, she has dedicated the past several years to touring with Missoula Children’s Theatre, where she has worked with school children across the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. Favorite credits include “Rockin’ at the Fireside”, “Into the Woods” (Little Red), “The Sound of Music” (Maria), and “Guys and Dolls” (Sarah Brown). Sarah is a proud member of AGMA.
