A recent graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, Sean Ryan is excited to take on the role of Ja'far in TWISTED! Previous roles include Bobby Strong in The Iona Players production of Urinetown: The Musical and Warner in Bethpage High School's Legally Blonde The Musical. He would like to thank the crew and cast members for a wonderful production, and he would like to thank his family and wonderful friends for their love and support!
A graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy and The New School in New York City; Pepe has been recently seen in Broadway Unplugged and Broadway Rising Stars at NYC Town Hall. He is extremely excited to be part of this production and would love to thank the whole cast and Angelica Vicens for being such a passionate, brave director.
Originally from a small town in northern New Jersey; Quinn has a passion for foreign languages, he has studied both Japanese, German, and Mathematics. Apart from his stage appearances in Dancing at Lughnasa, Much Ado About Nothing, and Laugh Out Loud. He has also spent time as an engineer and a pirate.
Hunter is a young actor originally from Texas. He came to New York to further his pursuit of his dream. Hunter is a walking personality. Just finishing up at the AMDA conservatory. He is ready to show his face to the world.
Recently seen as a writer/performer for a Sketch of New York and Future Fest at 54 Below, Angelica is very proud and excited to be bringing TWISTED to New York City! She has been acting in musicals for almost her entire life and Twisted is her directorial and producer debut. She'd like to thank her friends and family for helping this dream come to life. Here's to the future of Makes Sense Theatrics!
Einat is a New York City based performer: Actress, Singer and Dancer. Originally from Haifa, Israel Einat graduated from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy of NYC in June 2016. Since then she has played various roles in Off Broadway plays: Nothing Serious, A Sketch of NY and the role of Ann in Therapy - a new original musical. Her Recent Film Credits Include: Broken White (Lead), Light On Your Feet (Lead), Acajou (Supporting), Harbinger- Santurio (Supporting), and Where is the Fire (Principal). Her first and last goal is growth and enjoying her work. She is thrilled to be a part of the musical Twisted.
A lifelong fan of Aladdin and especially Robin Williams, Bobby is honored to be able to bring the Djinn to life in Twisted. Favorite regional credits include Guys and Dolls (Nicely-Nicely), Oklahoma! (Ali Hakim), Fiddler on the Roof (Lazar Wolf), and Lend Me a Tenor (Tito Merelli). Bobby is also a stand-up comedian and has opened for Jim Gaffigan and Jerry Seinfeld
Soprano La Toya Lewis was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She has toured with jazz legend Wynton Marsalis, has taught alongside TV sensation Tony Danza, and is building her own momentum via successful solo recitals around New York City. Her career highlights include: Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni with Tri-Cities Opera; soloist with San Juan Symphony; and the Abyssinian Mass tour with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. La Toya holds a Master’s degree in Opera from Binghamton University and a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Voice from SUNY Purchase. She also runs her own culture blog, "La Toya, Literally." This will be her first staged musical in a zillion years and she couldn't be more excited.
Evan is a New York based performer and is thrilled to be making his New York City debut! Select credits include regional performances of Footloose (Ren McCormack), Camelot (Lancelot/Dance Captain), West Side Story (Action/Dance Captain), Chicago (Ensemble), and The Producers (Springtime Tenor/Ensemble/Dance Captain). He has contributed choreography to West Side Story at The Huron Playhouse. Evan holds a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from Ohio Northern University with a minor in Arts Administration.
Matthew Tiemstra is ecstatic to be a part of this gleefully satiric masterpiece! Theatre Credits include: 1776 (Thomas Jefferson), The Clockwork Boy (Writer/Producer), Marino Faliero, the Doge of Venice (Bertuccio Faliero) and Twelfth Night (Duke Orsino). Film Credits include Bloody Donny's Fingers (Frankie), which won Best Ensemble Cast at the SF Best Actor Film Festival. He also co-hosts the new podcast Bros Before Shows, available now on iTunes. Rachel recently graduated from Muhlenberg College with degrees in Theatre and Political Science. She has spent the last five summers performing at Upper Darby Summer Stage, most recently in the Philadelphia premiere of Nice Work If You Can Get It. Other credits include Summer Stage's productions of Mary Poppins, Shrek (Queen Lillian), Fiddler on the Roof, and Hairspray, Muhlenberg's Master Choreographers, Sinternet! the Musical, and Children of Eden (The Snake). In the fall of 2014 Rachel spent a semester studying Theatre and Performance at Goldsmiths College, University of London. Rachel is very excited to be a part of Twisted!
Jay is originally from across the country, particularly around the Seattle area. He came to New York in pursuit of furthering his craft in acting and has found a new calling in the world of business. This is his first time directing a show in NY with hopes of many more to come and continues to involve himself in the acting community. He'd like to give a special thanks to all his friends, family, and Jonathan.
Wylan, a student at the School Of Visual Arts, currently studies a pretty useless major: Filmmaking. For fun he writes, directs, and acts in comedy sketches on YouTube. Help this desperate man get slightly famous by subscribing to his YouTube channel @ "Wylan Ernst". After years of making sketches, Wylan hopes to one day become a writer for Saturday Night Live. Or any other show that would be willing to hire him. Becoming a Production Assistant for "Twisted" is just another step in achieving that dream!
Alexandra is currently a student at LIM College majoring in Marketing with a concentration in Digital Business Strategy. She plans to pursue a career doing social media for television programming. This is her first experience with theater and she is excited to be stepping out of her comfort zone, learning new things, and contributing her business skills to a creative team.
Valaniece has been a part of theater since her freshmen year of high school and is excited to work as Stage Manager for the Off-Broadway production of Twisted. However, theater isn't the profession she is pursuing. Valaniece is currently studying film and business at Montclair State University while attending comedy sketch writing classes at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. Her goals are to one day become a satirical writer for both television and film.
